This design is an extension of the LHBT cantilevered roped hydro. The dual roped hydro design is well suited for large and medium sized freight and passenger elevators. It is a cost effective alternative to dual telescopic cylinders.

LEISTRITZ offers a dual roped hydro design package including sling, power unit and dual cylinder/rope drives. It is a holeless design, which is also well suited for material handling in warehouses, freight terminals and airports. With the LEISTRITZ design, cylinder dimensions are kept small by using a high pressure hydraulic power unit. The small cylinder design allows for a large platform area by minimizing the distance between the platform and hoist way wall.

In accordance with the LEISTRITZ cantilever roped hydro package, the dual roped hydro is provided with a speed governor, slack rope switches and progressive safeties.
