For smaller and medium sized installations the cantilevered sling in combination with a telescopic cylinder offers the best elevator application.

It is suited for travels up to 85 feet and gross loads (capacity plus sling and car weight) of 8400 lbs. Typical capacities range from 1500 lbs. to 3500 lbs. In full compliance with ADA requirements, platform dimensions are limited to a max. of 6'-4" deep x 8'-6" wide. This constrains the range of forces on the hoist way wall. Together with special roller guides a smooth ride is provided.

This exceptional ride quality is due to a very rigid sling. The platform is connected to the sling frame by rubber isolation mounts which limit structurally transmitted noise.

The single LEISTRITZ telescopic cylinder LGTZ and guide rails are compactly fitted into a 14-17 inch space between the platform and hoist-way wall. Per ANSI Code, all 3-stage telescopic cylinder require "plunger follower guides" which are provided as part of the LHBT package together with the wall brackets and the auxiliary rails.
